The 39th annual Uesugi Snow Lantern festival will take place on Saturday the 13th and Sunday 14th of February.
Every year the people of Yonezawa build beautiful Snow Lanterns and now applications to join the festivities are open!
For groups wishing to participate in the Snow-Lantern building contest please click here.
Information about stage events and volunteer staff will also be released mid-November.
