Yonezawa Rice Festival!
■Free Rice Present!
First 300 people will receive freshly harvested rice for free.
There is also a mocha-making experience using a traditional ‘Kine’ Pestel and ‘Usu’ mortar!
■Fresh Produce Tents
There will be tents selling some of Yonezawa’s finest and freshest produce and stock.
■Stamp Rally Raffle
Buy goods at the festival and collect points! 5 points will get you a ticket to enter the raffle!
■Writing and art contest
Works by Yonezawa Elementary School students will be put on display! The theme is “Food, rice and me”
This is a great event for all the family!
Come join in and experience the wonder that Yonezawa’s fresh produce has to offer.

Yonezawa City Bar Crawl!
Yonezawa is having a special Bar Crawl with several izakayas and restaurants participating.
The limited ‘bar crawl’ menu at each store will be available only during this period.
To participate you’ll need a ticket book, these can be found at any store located on the ‘Yonezawa Bar’ poster (Image above). Tickets come in sets of three. You can use these tickets to visit any of the participating stores and try their unique 'bar crawl' menu.
■Bar Crawl times are different depending on Store
■One ticket will allow you to have the limited “bar menu” at each store.
■Left over tickets can be used at the “After Crawl” from the 23rd Oct. – 30th. Tickets will become 700yen coupon tickets for participating stores.
■A list of the participating stores can be found on the Home-page, facebook and twitter.

Railway Fair 2016!
JR East will be having a Railway appreciation fair at Yonezawa Station.
Stamp Collection Rally, Rideable Mini Steam Train, Food Stalls, Ennichi Corner as well as commemorative photos where you can dress as a train conductor.
