Let’s kick off the year with the Sasano Kannon Junanadou Festival this coming 17th January once again!
It is also known as the New Year’s Eve festival, and was traditionally held on the 17th of December according to the lunar calendar.
There will be stalls selling woodcrafts like otakapoppo, rabbit zodiac figures, figures of the deities Ebisu and Daikokuten, and many more. You can also participate in firewalking, which is believed to ward off diseases, at the Kannondo temple premises!
Do drop by for a visit with your family, and let’s all wish for a healthy year ahead for our loved ones!
