建築工事を進めて行く上で工事が順調にうまく運ぶとは限らない
どんな工事も必ずと言って良いほどいろんな障害が発生するもの
施主が工事の進行状況で、イメージと異なってくるとだんだん不安になってくるものである
私は工務店として　地元の在来工法の工事を主力としてやっているのでハウジングメーカーの
工事は、今まで一度も請け負った事はないが
最近、昔の同期の大工の仲間の下請け工事の仕事を応援に行った事がある
坪単価が安くて県内でも有名な某ハウスメーカーのローコスト住宅であった
その分譲地に建てられた建物は隣の建物とのバランスを考え、周辺の環境にも配慮されていて
とてもモダンに見えた
ローコスト住宅郡であってもこんなに外観を整備しておしゃれに出来るものだと関心
したものである
1階をワンルームのLDKと水回りでまとめ、2階は階段を上りきった、ホール兼、廊下これを3室が共有する
と言った、ほとんど正方形の総2階建てローコスト住宅にありがちな間取りだった
建て方から始め、最後の仕上がりの90％まで仕事に携わった訳であるが、
大変な問題が発生してしまった。プレカット工法で構造材が組み上げられた建物で
極小空間に無理やり作られた回り階段、2階から1階に降りきった上部に1階部分の
天井が迫ってきていた
降りるとき頭がぶつかりそうになる
やはり設計を外注に任せているハウジングメーカーの初歩的なミスであった
工事の途中に施主は　がまんできず階段を作り直してくれと言った
私も大工職人として30年以上やっているがせっかく作った階段を解体して
最初から蹴上、踏面を計り、作り直し回り階段の段数を増やしたなんて事は一度もない
ハウジングメーカーの現場監督では対処しきれず部長、専務まで工事中の現場で意見を交わしたが
解決策が見あたらない、結局、迫ってきた一階の天井を無理やり削除することにして一件落着となった
下請け工事をやる大工の立場として、わかっていても余計な事は言えないものである
いかに監督や会社に気に入られるかが重要で、職人として悲しい限りだ
だれでもミスはあるもの　これらを謙虚に受け止め　頼りにされる職人になるべきだ
