烏帽子山公園（烏帽子山八幡宮）
赤湯駅から約１．７㎞ タ ５分 歩 ３０分
置賜さくら回廊南の起点「烏帽子山公園」は平成２年に日本の「さくら名所１００選」の地に選ばれ、毎年４月中旬～下旬には約１０００本の桜が咲き誇ります。また、園内にある「烏帽子山八幡宮」には石造りつなぎ目の無しの鳥居としては日本一の大きさを誇る大鳥居もあります。
ゆーなび からころ館（赤湯温泉街）
赤湯駅から約１．７㎞ タ ５分 歩 ３０分
９２０年以上前から湧き続けている赤湯温泉は、きりきず・やけど・関節症・高血圧症などに効き、肌がしっとりする美肌効果もあります。 「ゆーなび からころ館」は赤湯温泉の観光・交流の拠点として、市内の古民家を移築して建てられました。市内には、公衆浴場が４軒ありますので、南陽市観光の最後に汗を流されてはいかがでしょうか。
さくらんぼ狩り
市内には多くのさくらんぼ園地があります、交通手段等は 観光案内所にお問合せください。
期間：６月中旬～７月上旬
果物の栽培にぴったりの気候で育ったさくらんぼを自分の手で収穫し、さくらんぼの木の下でおなかいっぱいお楽しみください。
双松公園
赤湯駅から約４．５㎞ タ １０ 歩 ９０分
置賜盆地を一望できる高台にある「双松公園」は６月上旬～７月上旬にバラまつりが 開催されます。その他、春には見事な枝垂れ桜の「眺陽桜」「慶海桜」も見ものです。
夕鶴の里資料館
赤湯駅から約５㎞ タ １０分 歩 ９０分
南陽市の西部、漆山地区を流れる織機川のそばに、古くから民話「鶴の恩返し」を開山縁起として伝承している「鶴布山 珍蔵寺」があります。そして、同じ漆山地区に口伝えで残されてきた鶴の恩返しをはじめとする民話をこれからも伝えていくため「夕鶴の里資料館」が建てられました。
ぶどう狩り

南陽市は、山形県のぶどうの発祥の地と言われており、さまざまな品種が栽培されています。温潤な大気と昼夜の寒暖の差があるため、とても甘いぶどうとして定評があります。
熊野大社
赤湯駅から約４．５㎞ タ １０分 歩 ９０分
日本三熊野の一つに数えられる「熊野大社」は平成１８年に御再建１２００年を迎えました。珍しい形の茅葺きの造りは四季を通じて見ごたえ抜群です。本殿裏側には、兎の彫刻があり３羽見つけると幸せになると言われており、パワースポットとなっています。
結城豊太郎記念館
赤湯駅から約１．７㎞ タ ５分 歩 ３０分
結城豊太郎先生は、南陽市赤湯にお生まれになり、大蔵大臣・第１５代日本銀行総裁等を歴任されました。国の要職にあって多忙な中にも常にこよなく愛し続けた郷土赤湯の自宅跡地に記念館を建てました。

Information board of the transportation facilities from Akayu station to the sightseeing area of Nanyo
Eboshiyama Park (Eboshiyama Hachimangu shrine)
From Akayu station it takes 1.7km, 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.
Eboshiyama Park, the southern starting point of the Oitama Cherry blossom corridor, was chosen as one of the top 100 cherry blossom viewing places in Japan in 1990. Every year in the middle of April about 1000 cherry trees are in full blossom. Also within the park there is the Eboshiyama Hachimangu shrine with the biggest stone made shrine gate in Japan.
Yunabi Karakorokan (Akayu Hot spring district)
From Akayu station it takes 1.7km, 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot.
For the over 920 years that the water of Akayu hot spring has been gushing out, it has proven effective against cuts, burns, joint problems, high blood pressure as well as keeping the skin moist and beautiful. “Yunabi Karakorokan”, a sightseeing place for Akayu hot spring, was a old house from the city that was rebuilt. In Nanjo-shi, there is 4 public bath houses, so why don't you come wash away your sweat after a long day of sightseeing.
Cherry picking
There are many Cherry orchards withing the city. For information about modes of transportation, please enquire to the tourist information centre.

You can pick cherries that has grown the a climate perfect for fruits with your own hands while enjoying yourself until your stomach is full.
Sosho Park
4.5km from Akayu station, 10 minutes by car or 90 minutes on foot
Sosho Park is a place situated in high grounds where you can observe the entirety of the Okitama basin. From early June to early July, a rose festival is held. In addition, during spring, you can see the “Choyosakura” and “Keikaisakura” weeping cherry trees.
Yuzuru-no-sato museum
5km from Akayu station, 10 minutes by car or 90 minutes on foot
In the west part of Nanyo, next to the Orihatagawa river flowing through the Urushiyama district, there is the Kakufuzan Chinzoji temple that was founded on the ancient “tsuru-no-ongaeshi” folklore. In the Urushiyama district, there also is the Yuzuru-no-sato museum that was built to continue transmiting the “tsuru-no-ongaeshi” folklore to future generations.
Grape picking

In Nanyo-shi, known as the land of origin of grapes of Yamagata-ken, various kind of grapes are being cultivated. It has a reputation of having very sweet grapes due to the good climate and cold and heat variation from day to night.
Kumano-taisha shrine
4.5km from Akayu station, 10 minutes by car or 90 minutes on foot
Kumano-taisha shrine, one of Japan's 3 Kumano, has celebrated it's 1200th year since reconstruction in 2006. The unusually shaped thatch roof is an impressive sight to behold any season of the year. The back of the main shrine is said to be flowing with mystical energy. If you find the 3 rabbit carvings hidden there, it is said you will find happiness.
Yuki Toyotaro memorial hall
1.7 km from Akayu station, 5 minutes by car or 30 minutes on foot
Yuki Toyotaro was born in Nanyo-shi, Akayu. He had many successive jobs such as minister of finance - 15th president of the bank of Japan etc.. Even under a lot of work pressure from doing important jobs for the country, he never stopped loving his place of origin. The memorial hall was built on the site his house used to be in Akayu.
Nanyo wine
Within Nanyo-shi, there are 4 wineries. For information about the means of transportation, please enquire to the tourist information centre. With the superior quality grapes that are harvested in Nanyo-shi, superior wine is made. The history of Nanyo-shi wine started a long time ago, halfway through the Meiji era. On the 12 wine companies that can be found in the prefecture, 4 are in Nanyo.

夕鶴之里資料館
從赤湯站約５㎞ 車程約１０分鐘 歩行 約９０分鐘
鶴布山珍藏寺佇立在南陽市西邊、漆山地區織機川附近、悠靜的珍藏寺自開山以來、傳承「鶴的感恩」廣為人知。以漆山地區做為基點、仍然很努力的傳承下來「鶴的感恩」和許多民間故事以及温馨的民情風俗，「夕鶴之里資料館」以傳達魅力建造而成。

熊野大社

日本三熊野之一「熊野大社」邁向１２００年據說在平成１８年再建造而成。非常罕見的茅草建築與傑出的四季風情。
正殿後面擁有３隻兔的雕刻、傳說中發現了３隻兔的雕刻幸福即將來臨。代表景點之一。
結城豊太郎記念館
從赤湯站約１．７㎞ 車程約5分鐘 歩行 3０分鐘
結城豊太郎先生是出生在南陽市赤湯、曾經歷任財政大臣・第１５代日本銀行總裁等。在國家重要職位即使在繁忙的工作中仍然喜愛著鄉土赤湯因此結城豊太郎先生的自邸做為基點建造記念館。
