11/17(WED) I went to Diamond Head with my students. We took The Buss and climbed Diamond Head. It took about one hour to the top. We swated from every pore because it was sunny! Everybody get to the top. Blue sky and blue ocean was great. The scenery from the top was very beautiful! I took many photoes. After then, they went shopping to buy many gifts.
One student said, "I want to live here." Maybe the school trip would be very nice and they will never forget good experiences and good memories forever!
This is my last report from Hawaii. Tomorrow we are going back to Japan, where will be very cold now. So we must pay attentions not to catch a cold....
11/16(TUE) Today my students and I went to Downtown. There we went to many places. Aloha Tower is like Big Ben in London, that I have never seen it. And then we went to Hawaii State Art Museum. It is so difficult for me to understand the concept. I may not have aesthetic sense... Next, we visited Iolami Palace. We can't join a tour but can see many things, medal, swords, and so on. We could learn a part of Hawaiian history. Kingu Kamehamea's Statue was a little smaller than one in Big Island. I heard that The king had been more than 2 meters over. Next we went to Kawaihao Church. It was very quiet. Many japanese seem to celebrate a marriage. Finally we went to Mission House Museum. We can't get into the Museum because we weren't tour. But we could see some source book. Today we learned many Hawaian history. So we will have to search many things when we go back to Yonezawa.
Tomorrow, we will climb Diamond Head. Climing is our last activity. We will take many photes there.
11/15(MON) Today, my students and I went to Pearl Harbor. At first we went to Arizona Memorial. There are more than 1700 American remains. We must'n repeat the tragedy if war. And we have to recognize what Japanese had done. Secondly, we went to submarine Bowfin. The crew lived in a very very small space. If I were the crew, I would run away. Finally, we went to battleship Missouri. The ship was very huge. When I went inside, I was surprised. There were many kitchens in only one ship. And the inside was a maze ( meiro ). I thought that I must spend one month to memorize the gangway ( tsuuro ). I'll put many pictures on this report. Wait for my pictures!
Tomorrow, my students and I will go to downtown to watch many musiums, art galleries, palace, that is only palace in United States of America, and so on.
11/14(SUN) Today, I took a bus to BISHOP MUSEUM. I have been interested in native people, Native American, Maori. This musium displaies Polynesian cultures including Maori culture. Especially, their feature that I am vary interested in is carving. I am eager to study them. And Science Adventure Centre was fun. Many children ( and I ) enjoyed joining in many atructions. Then, I bought many gifts to my family, my friends, and my colleagues. I'm afraid that I must pay additional charge to load in plane.
By the way, my students is enjoying their homestay? I think that maby they have a good time because I don't get their phone and my agent does't call me!
Tomorrow, we are going to Pearl Harbor. I must learn World War and treasure peace! What does my student feel and how does they act for our future? Visit points is USS Arizona Memorial, Battleship Missouri Memorial and so on.
11/13(SAT) Today I was free. And I took a walk from Waikiki to Downtown and returned along Waikiki beach. Waikiki beach is wonderful and beautiful. There is no garbage!! Everybody makes a conscious effort. I think that Japanese needs that, too. Many Japanese is around there. I think that one-third of people in Waikiki is Japanese. They who passed by me spoke Japanses, Magide, Anomise... and so on. And anyone spoke to me in Japanese in any store. So, I didn't speak English...
This afternoon, I went to Waikiki Aquarium. It was a little one. It took 30 minutes to watch.
I have no idea what to do tomorrow. So I will search many places to watch on books.

11/11 We could be great shocked!! Because we wnet to Maunakea, mountain over 4200m, where there are many microscope. And then we watched very, very beautiful sunset and amazing stars. I have ever seen such beautiful stars! I took many photos. I will upload them when I go back to Japan.
11/12 We come back to Honolulu. My students joined in doing home stay. They were a little nervous, I think. But this experience will be great one to them.
I'm sorry for writing down my report in English. My hotel's computer is not available in Japanese. When I go back to Japan, I write my report in Japanese and tell you more interesting stories and show you many photos.
